Lagos Pilgrims Board intensify campaign for sales of hajj forms

The Lagos State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has completed arrangements to embark on a marketing campaign to increase the sale of hajj forms in the five divisions of the State.

The Executive Secretary of the Board, Mr. Muftau Okoya, who disclosed at a meeting in his office, said the campaign will be taken to Lagos lsland and Ikorodu on Friday, 27th January 2017, while it will move to Badagry and Epe on Friday, 3rd February 2017.

He stated further that the staff will continue their campaign for the sale of forms in the Ikeja Division on Friday, 10th February 2017 and implored interested individuals to ask the campaign team questions related to the forthcoming Y2017 Hajj exercise.

Okoya reiterated the determination and commitment of the State Government to ensure a hitch free Y2017 hajj exercise in spite of the harsh economic reality, while advising interested Muslims to take advantage of the flexible hajj packages put in place by the Board such as the “Pay – Small- Small, Lagos International and the Regular Standard”.

Mr. Okoya also commended the State Government for its steadfastness in taking the necessary steps to make Lagos pilgrims comfortable during the hajj exercise.
